Richard is the founder of Macrocosm, established in 2012, bringing over 15 years of experience in the digital marketing industry. Having worked across all levels of operations, he has developed a keen understanding of what drives performance and client retention. Richard knows that ROI is essential and ensures every strategy delivers measurable and lasting value.
He leads both the Finance and SEO departments at Macrocosm, blending his analytical mindset with a results-focused approach to digital marketing. Richard holds a B.Comm Diploma in Financial Management from Stellenbosch University and continues to expand his knowledge through ongoing professional development, including nine Google-accredited certifications. He is also a certified Google Ads professional.

Joe holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from UNISA and an MBA from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, providing a strong educational foundation to complement his extensive professional experience. Executive PA to the Directors | Website Traffic Manageress
Joining in 2012 at Macrocosm, Dani is regarded as one of the agency’s most valuable team members. As part of the original foundation of the company, she has excelled across multiple departments, from Office Administration and Executive Personal Assistance to her current role as Traffic Manageress for the Web Department, where she has led for the past five years in a demanding and fast-paced environment.
As Macrocosm’s longest-serving employee, Dani is known for her strong work ethic, adaptability, and quick learning. Over the past twelve years, she has developed a broad range of corporate digital marketing skills, including Search Engine Optimisation (SEO), reporting, Google Ads, website development, and social media management.
Dani actively keeps her knowledge current by completing various certifications and industry exams. Her credentials include First Aid Level 1, Google My Business Basics, Digital Sales, Google Ads (Search, Shopping, Display), YouTube Creative Essentials, and all 86 Facebook Blueprint Courses.
Though her primary role is Executive PA to the Directors, often referred to as “the Donna to Kevin’s Harvey”, Dani continues to contribute her expertise to the Web Department as the traffic manageress. Her dedication, versatility, and deep understanding of digital marketing makes her an integral part of the Macrocosm team.
Finance and HR Manager
With over 22 years of experience in Finance and Administration—10 of which were gained in the UK—Thara-Lee joined Macrocosm well equipped for the fast-paced world of Digital Marketing. After returning to South Africa, she worked in the Finance Department of an IT company that manufactured Proline computers, before moving into the marketing sector as a Finance Assistant, where she also supported website process flows and content management.
Thara-Lee became part of the Macrocosm team in March 2017 and has since become an indispensable member of the company. Affectionately known as the “Minister of Finance,” she also serves as HR Manager, balancing her financial responsibilities with a strong commitment to employee well-being and fair workplace practices.
She continues to grow professionally and in addition, Thara-Lee holds a First Aid Level 1 certification, further demonstrating her dedication to maintaining a safe and supportive work environment.
With her wealth of experience, ongoing commitment to learning, and strong sense of accountability, Thara-Lee remains a trusted pillar of the Macrocosm team.
Google Ads and SEO Specialist
Glenn’s journey into the IT and Digital Marketing industry began with four years in software support at a jewellery accounting software firm. In 2011, he broadened his horizons by managing the website and social media accounts for ROCKNROLLA Magazine in Oslo, Norway, all while studying .NET C# programming and doing a course in Pastel Partner Accounting Software.
Afterwards, he joined an emerging digital marketing agency in a junior role, where he successfully managed multiple marketing accounts and led new website builds. In 2016, Glenn brought his growing expertise to Macrocosm after working with a competitor. His strong technical foundation and deep understanding of search engines quickly made him a vital part of the team.
Glenn’s formal title, “Google Ads & SEO Specialist,” doesn’t fully capture his expertise. With over 9 years’ experience in our Digital Marketing Agency, it should come as no surprise that Dani is seen as one of our most irreplaceable assets. As a building block from the very start, Dani has excelled in almost every single department at Macrocosm, ranging from Office Administration duties and supporting the CEO as his Personal Assistant to leading the Web Department as their Traffic Manageress for the last three years in a highly demanding role.
As one of our longest-standing employees, we can proudly boast that Dani is incredibly hard-working, as well as a fast learner. Over the past 8 years, Dani has gained corporate experience in Search Engine Optimisation (SEO), Reporting, Google Ads, Website Development, and Social Media Management.
Coupled with this experience and in-depth knowledge of our industry, Dani has also completed various exams and certifications, ensuring she remains up to date on any and all trends in the Digital Marketing sphere. These include Google My Business Basics; Digital Sales; Google Ads Search, Shopping, and Display; YouTube Creative Essentials; and all 86 Facebook Blueprint Courses.

In terms of Thara-Lee’s ongoing education, she is currently studying for the ICB Financial Accounting Programme, ensuring she remains up to date with the necessary knowledge and practical skills that surround financial accounting.

Glenn’s journey to the IT and Digital Marketing industry started when he spent 4 years in the Software Support industry for a Jewellery Accounting Software Firm. In late 2011, Glenn chose to take on a more international role with ROCKNROLLA Magazine based in Oslo, Norway.

Having worked at Macrocosm for over 6 years now, our Jack (Jayde) of all trades, has had a part to play in every department at Macrocosm. After gaining experience as a content writer, a web developer on WordPress (the world’s most popular CMS), and as a Junior Graphics Designer, Jayde realised her true passions lay in her Web Development and Graphic Design roles.
To further develop herself in these more complex roles, Jayde continues to improve her education and skills in Graphic Design. Additionally, to stay up to date with current Digital Marketing trends, and best practice, Jayde has made herself familiar with Google Skills Shop, Google Digital Garage, as well as Facebook Blueprint, completing a total of 85+ exams!

Madison completed her 3-year degree with a BA in graphic design, where she completed 8 majors in her final year of studies. Having worked in the wedding industry previously, she is well adapted to handling situations of any calibre. Since joining Macrocosm Ultra Digital in 2025, he has been committed to supporting the team, managing its workload effectively, and contributing to the ongoing growth of the company.
Outside of work, Carlo enjoys spending time with his animals and is very family-orientated. He and his partner foster and rescue kittens and dogs, and he enjoys outdoor walks, hikes, going to the gym, and meeting new people.
